How can I look amazing for this event?

Next Monday we have career day at school and we dress like the people do in the career we want. So I'm taking this as an opportunity to look amazing. I want to be a lawyer so I'll be dressing like a lawyer. I have my whole outfit planned (pencil skirt, heels, button up blouse - it's actually quite cute) but I'm still wondering what I can do hair and make up wise. I rarely wear make up. I just want people to be like "whoa... she looks amazing." Plus I just want one chance to look better than my friend. It seems like she is constantly trying to one up me and steal the limelight.
