Did I make a stupid choice?! What would you have done?

I think it's good you stood your ground with your boss, you have a right to stand up for what you believe. I had a boss when I was an Asst. Manager who would take credit for my work all the time. Oh, it made me so mad. My co workers knew but never spoke up because they were scared of him. I finally got another job offer and walked out. I found out later on that he got demoted after I left. Turns out that he had me doing some of his work that he couldn't do and when I left nobody else could either. They took his job title and demoted him to another area in the store. I guess my point is they won't ever get ahead taking credit for your hard work and it will eventually come back to bite them. They are presenting your work and taking credit for it and the recipients are going to expect the same quality the next time. If you are gone, there won't be that quality now with there? I've never been one to act out because I have always believed that God has a way of prevailing. When it's our time to go we will answer for ourselves and why we did what we did.
