What awaits the Lakers in the near future?

It's safe to say they are not getting any younger, in a few years time do you see them continuing to be dominant and having one of the top stars in the league a.k.a the next Kobe? Or will they decline and teams like Miami.... Boston... New York step into the limelight and be the elite franchise of the NBA?
