Can the plant Acacia 'Limelight' (an Australian Native) grow in soils that have high ammonia?

We're landscaping our front yard and have chosen a soil that is apparently quite high in ammonia due to the amount of manure in it. I've heard this plant can't tolerate these conditions. Can anyone comment on what these plants grow best in?
