Help picking a good hotel in Aspen?

Next winter I'm looking to be spending a week or two in Aspen when I'm off from university. I've been to Park City and Jackson Hole in previous years but I've never been to Aspen. I realize that it's an expensive ski town and, as a college student, I'm on a budget. I'm looking for a hotel with a room fit for 1-3 people around the $100 per night range. Along with some friends, I am definitely going to be snowboarding at the Aspen Snowmass mountains so I want a hotel near them because, as a young person, rental car companies aren't too keen on renting me one. I've checked out The Little Nell and The Limelight Lodge but they are way to expensive for me to stay there for more than a few days. Could I get some direction as to which hotel would be the most suitable? Thank you!

If You Have A Masters In Logistics But Decided To Enlist How Do You Become An Officer Later?

The nephew of a friend of mine enlisted with a Masters In Logistics which I thought was a bit strange - with that sort of qualification I thought he would have looked at being an officer. But it seems he feels he needs to mature before taking on the leadership responsibility of an officer. After thinking about it it may not be a bad idea. But out of curiosity exactly how would he become an officer when he decides he is ready. Does that sort of qualification make is pretty much a forgone concusion or doesnt it really count for much?

I always fight with my family because it bothers me that my sister abuses the system.?

My sister is 23 and she has two kids because she decided when she was 20 that having a child was a good decision despite being financially unstable, not to mention with a man who had no job. Now three years later she works a lousy two days a week at a nursing home doing CNA work while her boyfriend works late afternoons/nights at a fruit packaging plant making minimum wage. She just got a new job at a coffee shop (I have no idea why considering she would make more money if she picked up hours at her job where she makes more then minimum wage.. oh wait I do because she's freaking lazy) and is getting five days a free daycare from the state. She also receives WIC benefits and food stamps. It really really pisses me off. Here I am 19 years old in college paying out of my *** to be there and I can't even find a minimum wage job because of people like her who go out of there way to get a second job making low wages so they can get free money from the government. Never the less I'm a college student and she's a high school dropout! Whenever I bring it up to my family they get mad and say I'm a *****. It also really bothers me that she's putting my niece and nephew in daycare so many times a week, I don't think she realizes that she's giving up time with them. Time that she will never be able to get back! It makes me feel like she doesn't care to be around her children! I also get really mad because in the future, now that I've worked my *** off and spent tons of money to get a degree, I probably won't be able to afford to have a child because I'll be paying for everything, while she got it all free because she made a shitty life decision. Am I wrong for thinking this way because my entire family makes me feel that way. I feel like the government makes teenage girls feel like it's okay to have a child because there going to get it all for free anyway!

How do I connect my Macbook Pro to the Internet?

I have a Macbook Pro OS X 10.6.7 with a BOOTCAMP partition running Windows 7 x64. When I try to connect to the internet using OS X, shortly after I access AirPort I get recurring kernel panics. However, when I connect to the internet using Windows 7, it works fine. The network adapter is listed as "Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter" and I want to know if there is a way to connect OS X to the internet using that network adapter instead of using AirPort because I keep getting kernel panics.

I have been finding corn kernels in the substrate when I sweep the gravel, and it has a nasty, rotten smell to it. Back Molar Tooth Pain?

My 14 year old nephew is experiencing some pain and pressure in his upper right molars (left if your facing him, it's his right). I told him it might be a wisdom tooth issue and he didn't embrace that very well because he knows about the process. But I did some research and found out that wisdom teeth don't usually come in until 16 on the early side, so could this be a wisdom tooth problem. He said it was kind of a sudden pain that came out of no-where (it wasn't gradual), and it was just a day or two after the climax of a head virus that he caught that affected his nose, throat, everything. I'm truely perplexed by this woman at a coffee group I go to. I've been going for a year to the group and enjoyed it. Then two months ago this new lady came. last friday i went to the movies and i felt a popcorn kernel shaving lodged in between my teeth in the back of my mouth. i tried to pick it out and thought i was successful, but later that night i still felt some tension back there. i tried flossing but nothing came out and i hoped it would just come out by itself. its been 4 days now and my gum still hurts, but it doesn't seem that the popcorn kernel shaving is even there. its tender to touch and when I chew food it hurts to have the food even slightly bump that area. I don't know what to do! should i wait it out? should i see a dentist? could it be something else thats causing the pain??

Severe pain after root canal?

I'm 15 and I just had a root canal 3 days ago. I've had 3 other root canals and it has NEVER hurt this bad before. The dentist gave me Tylenol 4 and ibuprofen to take in between. I was holding my nephew and he headbutted me and broke a tooth and another tooth had damage to it. The other damaged tooth had a root canal to it because the dentist said if I didn't it would have become abscessed. The pain in that tooth is so bad! It's throbbing and I am trying to change positions or put an ice pack on or ANYTHING to make this pain go away. Should I call my dentist? Like I said, all my other root canals have not hurt this bad. This is the worst my teeth have ever hurt.

Make it clear that this is not your doing, you're not backing it, and that it's not your decision to make. Hopefully she'll understand and empathize with the position you've been put in. My computer won't start all the way, I get a message saying that there is an error with the software; it's the "Load needed dlls for Kernel" message. I found an article that said if I used the AVG Recovery Cd that it would allow me to remove whatever infections that my computer has and then it would start normally and I could back up my files. I ran the AVG Cd, did the scan, removed the infections, restarted the computer, and it still gives me the "Load needed dlls for Kernel" message. I have files on the computer that I want to save so I am not looking for information on how to re-format my computer, I am trying to find out how to access my files so that I can save them to a USB drive BEFORE I re-format, I have someone who knows how to re-format the computer but they do not know how to recover my files off of the hard-drive.

How can i find out the punishment a driver got for knocking down and killing my nephew?

A 19 year old driver, knocked down and killed my 16 year old nephew. I live around 300 miles away from the area that it happened, so dont have local news. Want to begin making my own computer operating system?

I have been programming for a few years now and I have decided that I would like to begin working on my own computer operating system. Recently my incredibly weird half brother has been imprisoned (again) and my Father seems to bend over backwards to help him get on his feet. Sorry to say it will never get better or improve on any level with age. My sister is self envolved as well. She only calls or fb me when she needs something or has something to talk about that she needs advice on. I am the younger sister yet I seem to always be the one that helps her out. we are in our 30s now and its still the same to this day. Just know you cant change her or how she is but you can change you and not be a doormat for her anymore. Let her know how you feel and stand firmly. She cant be mad at you forever and will eventually realize that she needs you.

The best advice I can give is to tell your mum how you feel about your brother, and to remove yourself from the room or situation if your brother and his gf and baby are over. If the baby bangs on the computer box, ask the gf politely to remove the baby from where the computer is, or go to another room and do something else. My nephew's parents just found out he'll need tubes in his ears soon. He's been getting constant ear infections and he's only a year old. My sister in law didn't even attempt to breast feed (which bothers me since I was set on it and then wasn't able to). Could this be why he is having problems? My husband also never received breast milk and has similar issues, as well as at least 2-3 children/adults I know. Though I could not breast feed, I pumped for 2 months until my milk dried up. Animal crossing cheats not working on r4?

i have 2 r4 cards 1 is the r4i revolution for ds and the other is the r4i gold (clone) . i've downloaded the latest kernels and added the usercheats which work for most of the games on the revolution one but none on the gold. the one my kids want the most tho is animal crossing but although the cheats look fine when i use r4cee when its on the ds some of the cheats come up as symbols and blank spaces. i've tried using different usercheats but nothing works. please help!

I love the way you casually assume that a brand new OS must automatically support hardware that it was not designed to run on. If you want to run OS X the easy way run it on a Mac. If you want to run OS X on a PC then you have hassles to sort out. You don't get both non-Mac and hassle-free at the same time.

Haha I'm majoring in architecture and love it, so I suggest you look into that, or interior design since you like materials and whatnot:) both require project managing, which you sound very good at, and it is 90% individual work yet you're around people all the time (in a studio). Also it allows for so much creativity, you won't know what to do with yourself, and you can work at your own pace...as long as you meet due dates. Both are hard, I'm not gonna lie, but they're also very rewarding. It's not like you turn in an essay and don't get it back for a month, then when you do, there's one comment on it from the prof - everything is hands on, all the time, always something new and never boring. Ever. It involves history, art, problem solving, and intuition. If you're truly interested in set design, I definitely suggest looking into architecture, because it is one of many paths you can take with a B.Arch. Not to discourage you from your current thoughts on costume design, but both architecture and interior design have better job outlooks and pay range.

I'm a novice programmer and I know the languages C, C++, and Java. I've been spending most of my time learning more languages and trying to figure out what type of field I want to do in programming. That might have been a good computer when you purchased it but right now its a very low end computer. 2.4 gighz is not very fast, and it does not even have a gig of ram. I would put it up for $100 to $150 and see if you get any biters, If it comes with a lcd monitor then add $50-100 depending on the size, anything less then 19 inches will only sell for close to $50 if its 5 years old also. Every inch over 19 add $15. If it comes with a mouse and keyboard in good condition add $10-15. So if it comes with an LCD monitor (not an old fat monitor), keyboard, and mouse i would post it for $200, see if you can get a biter. Without an LCD monitor i would post $100. But know that people can buy a even better computer refurbished and re-certified for as little as $139 (without a monitor). Good Luck!

Why can't a 2-week-old R4 SD card be reformatted?

My friend recently purchased an R4 card with an SD card and has the latest firmware/kernel versions on it. Writing what you know...?

I rarely write what I know. My story takes place in locations I have never been to. I don't try to get real detailed about the characters' surroundings, but I make sure to put in enough details to enhance the story/description. I can find out just enough by researching online if I need a street name or certain geographical points. The majority of my characters are British which means in most cases they have different words for things than we do or different ways of saying things and different speech patterns. I don't know if my portrayal of them is perfect in these respects but I try to be true to their background and heritage. Even a simple thing like one of them being in a relationship, I don't have a lot of personal knowledge to go by in how to live with someone and build a romantic relationship but I go with my own emotions and do the best I can with the rest. It's all pretty much trial and error anyway. No one knows what the hell we're doing when it comes to some relationships so I imagine the things that would be different for me if I were in a relationship as opposed to what I knew in my single life and try to figure out how the characters might work through those changes.

Ok so my nephew is like my brother. He is 3 years older than me and looks out for me all the time. The only thing is he lives 40 miles away from me. So I don't get to see him very much. Can only having one stick of RAM cause a kernel panic?

I was having spontaneous restarts and kernel panics with my late 2006 MacBook, so I took it into Apple for some testing. The logic board is fine, but I have a bad stick of RAM. We isolated and removed the bad stick, and I have a new set on the way from Crucial. Meanwhile with 1 GB of ram (in only one slot) I have still been having the same issues. Could these be caused by my lack of memory, or something much worse?

Ubuntu 11.04 Error: You need to load the kernel first?

I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 onto a partition and am dual-booting it with Windows 7. I got to the install for Ubuntu where it extracts the language packs and things like that and it has the "Slideshow" where it shows you all the new features, I got past that and restarted my computer. But when I start from GRUB it it goes into a command prompt type thing (Sorry, I'm used to windows) and it says "Error: You need to load the kernel first". I've looked around on Google and seen quite a few articles about it but it was all for 9.10 not 11.04. Please help.

If you care for them and give to them when they are children and they need you that is your best shot gaining their respect as adults. All the drama with your mother and stepfather sounds mind-numbing. Do you live with them? If so move out. If you don't live with them reduce contact. As to whether your nieces and nephews believe your stepdad, well if they are smart they will figure out the truth when they are older.

Macbook: You need to restart your computer...?

I have had my 2.4Ghz white MacBook for eight months now, and from the very beginning it freezes every week or so and pops up the message "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again." It is displayed in several languages. There doesn't seem to be any pattern of when it happens. I have done some research and know it's a kernel panic and have tried everything that Apple's website recommends, such as re-installing the OS etc. I even took it into a Mac store and had them try to fix it -- they updated everything, but that hasn't solved it either. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Okay, well my names Carson, I met this boy named Travis in 3rd grade who bullied me which included getting beat up and a lot of name calling and just drama, this lasted all the way threw middle and high school. When I was 16 me and his sister had sex and had a baby. Travis tried to take me to court to take my son away but he lost,I have custody of my son and he's happy living where he's at and that's with me in a stable home with my aunt,uncle and his/our cousins but will Travis ever actually go away? We got a protection order against him that's good for 3 years! He can't come near anyone in the house hold. So far things are going really good for me for once in my life. I think it's good you stood your ground with your boss, you have a right to stand up for what you believe. I had a boss when I was an Asst. Manager who would take credit for my work all the time. Oh, it made me so mad. My co workers knew but never spoke up because they were scared of him. I finally got another job offer and walked out. I found out later on that he got demoted after I left. Turns out that he had me doing some of his work that he couldn't do and when I left nobody else could either. They took his job title and demoted him to another area in the store. I guess my point is they won't ever get ahead taking credit for your hard work and it will eventually come back to bite them. They are presenting your work and taking credit for it and the recipients are going to expect the same quality the next time. If you are gone, there won't be that quality now with there? I've never been one to act out because I have always believed that God has a way of prevailing. When it's our time to go we will answer for ourselves and why we did what we did.
